Selected racer’s quotes

smith, 1st (FXR)
My opposition in big gtr’s wasn’t started or disconnected soon, so I didn’t have any challenge. Although I can’t complain, because lapping racers was always fun and unexpected task.

Maxii-GPT-, 5th (RAC)
Race went well for me, I was driving sufficiently stable and confident. The only glitch was refuelling, I made mistake in calculations and lost much time and one position at the finish beca use of that.

Scoop, 8th (RAC)
Nice race, had a small prob in quall and in race in turn1, after that 2 more few outings. But the race went very well and fun race, but a hard car to drive fast. Got the points I needed for the champ standigs.

 S2 Vertigo, stage 2 22 jul 2005 staff
Event results. No illegal behavior was found, and no protests were supplied in both sessions.
Unfortunately, lots of racers weren’t able to finish due to problems with server stablilty or with more generic internet connection quality. We hope this kind of troubles will be completely avoided in future.

trt mice, 1st (XRR)
Race was excellent for me if we don’t count mistake that I made in beginning. People who were one or more laps behind me, allowed me to overtake them fine. More excitement in race were giving pitstops and car that I broke during the first lap. Also I was excited about thought that all three -WF- members are able be in winners’ rostrum.

Shagguli, 2nd (XRR)
Race was hard for me, I suffered a lot because I made bad decision with tyre settings. I was drifting a lot in corners and couldn’t drive as fast as I could have done. In the end I was second and that’s because of luck I had much this time with me (in last race I had fine settings but ended in the wall). I was worried all the time about faster drivers behind me and it was really exhausting. Seems like it wasn’t so easy for others too because they had accidents and because of that I drove in second place. I had fun and I hope to see everyone in next race too.

Maxii-GPT-, 3rd (FZR)
Race was quite funny for me. Everythning began in evening when my internet was totally absent until one hour to race. In qualifying I drove on R3 by mistake, and tried to save tyres on warm-up lap. More to come... Somehow I was convinced to use R4 on rear for the race. First 7 laps with it were a nightmare, until I pitted and changed to R3. After that things settled and I finally was able to race. In general, I liked the race very much.

Messiah, 6th (XFR)
My worst race I ever remember. I don’t think I got 5 laps in a row without practice for an offroad challenge. Also it seems a lot of other drivers had a rally lesson here and there. The track is quite dangerous, you hit the grass really fast and say farewell my grip. Sad thing, too many racers dropped during the race. Hope to see you all finish on Kyoto GP :)

Ladaraider, DNF (XRR)
Don’t have much to say about it. I just hope that server will be fixed to the next race

smith, DNF (XFR)
Despite some mistakes in qualification and race, situation was quite ok, as I finally got the speed in race, but due to internet channel problems between my town and Moscow I disconnected quite fast.

ekze, DNF (FXR)
There was an unsuccessful day for me. The beginning was promising, having started from sixth place and after several turns owing to mistakes of contenders I have taken third place, but after that also I has taken off on a grass... Could have been interesting race, if my computer didn’t stuck.

Messiah, winner (FZR)
It seems that the FZR was a good choice this time, though I didn’t think I could leave asman behind (even with XRR), unfortunately he had an accident while lapping. Beside a few "ooops"-moments, I found lapping quite challenging, the speed difference need everyone to be careful. It’s very exciting after all and I can’t wait to see the next race’s grid.

asman, 2nd (XRR)
I liked the race. Introducing different classes influenced positively on race interest and dynamic. I was disappointed by going out of the track incident, apparently caused by Scoop. The rest went ok. Thanks to everyone, can’t wait for the next race.

Ladaraider, 4th (XFR)
The race went fine, actually it was even a bit boring. Driving alone long time.. Couldn’t go better than that, actually. At the qualifying I feared the lag problem in race, but it seemed to be dissappear when the most laggiest drivers dropped. The track was pretty interesting, and that car system. I like to drive those a bit more strange tracks.

ekze, 7th (UFR)
I liked system of the championship. I am a little disappointed by a car choice, with UFR on straight lines was unreal to compete with XFR. On the middle of a distance i have seen that in a tank will be enough fuel for finish race without stops, I have decided to risk and go in general without pit-stops and all has turned out perfectly, forward wheels have lost pressure just after finish, on a return in box lap. As a whole I am happy with race and with impatience looking forward for Westhill.

smith, 9th (RAC)
Making stupid mistakes seems to be my credo. I went off the track in qualifying, started from pit-lane in race, went off a few times because of wrong gear. So I’m waiting for the next race, to check, if all of my troubles happened in Aston National already, or some are still left.

S.Konyshev, 11th (RAC)
It was a really bad day for me. I expected that most of racers should take the RAC, and I was really surprised that my suggestion appeared wrong. On top of that I haven’t got enough practice in this configuration. But finally, I’m satisfied by the race, it’s very intresting to move forward in this championship!

 S2 Vertigo launch 06 jul 2005 smith
Hello!
After surprisingly short break, new insane championship, S2 Vertigo, starts today. This time we tried to do something really interesting and fun. Similar concept has already been used in Final turbo burnout, but today we went even further. Season feautures eight diffrerent tracks and three car classes (XRR/FZR/FXR, UFR/XFR and FZ50/RA/LX6). Every joined racer must drive each car once, on whatever track he likes. In addition, no one is able to see who choose which car for the upcoming race, so weight your chances and make decisions carefullt.
To qualify for the all of the season’s races, you must drive only one easy hotlap (check details on the season’s page).
If you’re new to our racing club, you might want to check FAQ which can pour some light on certain unclear moments.

Season’s rules addition to main Regulations, Appendix 4 "Information specific to a season"
Championship’s general conductor: smith. Race coordinator: smith.
Forthcoming season will have the following restrictions, along with the main regulations. You definitely must know the regulations, as it contains facts vital to successful competing in championship.
By qualifying to the championship by submitting required hlvc, you gain possibility to register for the rest of championship stages (only if you qualify for first race though). You won’t have a chance to join when first race signup deadline arrives, so decide whether you are with us or you are not.
Scoring: First finisher gets 20 points, last one - 1. 1 additional point for bestlap in race and pole position.
Racing event details
Qualifying
High wind is turned on in the qualifying.
Qualifying consists of one warm-up and one flying lap. On qualifying start everyone must immediately spectate. Race coordinator commands each racer to start his qualifying lap. After completion of the flying lap racer must drive to the pit-lane and then join spectator mode or pit.
If racer crashes on warm-up lap or flying lap, or suffers speeding on pit-lane penalty, he isn’t allowed to restart his lap, and his penalty must be completed on his flying lap.
Amount of qualifying fuel is unrestricted.
When everyone finished their qualifying, all racers must stay in pit-lane area.
Race
High wind is turned on in the race.
Race start procedure is a common one: everyone starts right from their qualifying positions.
Be extremly careful with others, it’s very important since your and opponent’s cars can be badly damaged.

It’s very important to understand that things are going to be very serious and if you’re unsure you can stand the rules, please skip this competition.

During pre-qualifying period non-teamtagged racers can decide on forming a temporary teams, to be able to compete in team’s cup.
