So the XXL Rally, time-squeezing-till-S2-release fun-championship is ended. Very strange, but racer’s
championship is again led by racer who didnt win even one race (looks like some weird tendency..).
And the winner is RRT.Koffy, our congratulations go right in his direction :)
We can not skip mentioning ocr.JeeP, who won 2 races of 2 participated (thats not too
astonishing, keeping in mind his alien nature..), CR.DeeS & jenek (race winners).
In team championship cup is taken by Aeroflot Racing Team. Theirs team spirit allowed them
to catch the title without big efforts. Congratulations!
Now A-Spec Racing Club suspends its work, till S2 release al teast. We hope to see you in next generation of racing. Thanks for support and understanding!
Race leaders started excellent. RRT.Koffy’s reaction allowed him to remain 1st in
T1 enter, but noticeble pace wasnt created due to his little mistake after T1,
where certain racers again made collisions (we’ve already had enough of them!).
n!Da Hoe and whole Evo team made mass mess, thus falled behind. This crash
responsibility lies on Evo.Frik, who couldnt keep his LX6 straight and knocked out n!Da Hoe
and Evo.Brian O’Conner.
jenek, who made his debut in this kind if competitions (of course that doesnt mean he racing
for a first time), overtakes RRT.Koffy. Evo team catched Kore’s tail, trying to pass him after
mass collisions. To the end of 1st lap racers more or less spreaded and formed pelaton.
But 2nd lap brought us another leader change: after mistake jenek shifted back to 2nd,
making place for RRT.Koffy. Racing Team Slovenia goes well, following aero.von_Neumann,
who became 4th in favour of aero.fanatic.
Pre-qualifying and qualifying made clear that jenek and RRT.Koffy have practically similar
tempo, and race only confirmed that suggestion, as right till 9th lap RRT.Koffy was leading, but
jenek didnt want to surrender, constantly keeping small pace.
At the same time n!Da Hoe started rising through the grid. Beginning from L2 he overtook
Evo.Raptor, Evo.Frik, Polde on L3 and Evo.Brian O’Connor on L5.
At the beginning of L6 aero.fanatic again mistakes in T1 and aero.von_Neumann becomes 3rd.
Meanwhile Polde pases Evo.RaptoR and Evo.frik. His teammate couldnt be as stable, and on L6 & L7,
after making some errors, falled back to the end of the grid.
L9: RRT.Koffy couldnt keep the pressure anymore and allowed jenek to regain lead at the very
same place where his lead was lost. Till the end of the race RRT.Koffy didnt recover and
made some errors, finally losing chances to attack jenek.
There wasn’t any major spots till 17 lap, when things began happening in the grid’s middle.
But, despite the striggle, only evo.frik could improve his positions.
jenek: I had little experience online and it was my first competition at all. My debut was in hardest kind of event so I nervous very much at first, afraiding to lost control of this gripless monster and run in someone.
From the beginning my goal was to keep same tempo all the 23 laps way. I don’t wanted to push and do fast laps in cost of making mistakes on last laps because of being tired. Otherways, Koffy immediately started from hi tempo. I heard how he burned his engine behind me in the end of 1st lap. Then he passed me and started to gift time every lap. Sometimes he lost from my sight, but i rich him later and passed, probably when he tired and leak his concentration.
Shurely I am very happy with this race :-) And I want to bring my big gratitude to Koffy for helping me obtain a license.

Even a few practice race starts during free practice session
didn’t help to
avoid accidents in T1. In fact racers started to smash each other right
after the lights went green, even before the first turn... For example,
aero:von_Neumann pushed pedal too hard and spinned into [dSRC]nazzard’s car.
Both went out of the track in a few moments.
(V)Vince couldn’t avoid aero:von_Neumann and
joins him on the grass. At the same time Kore from Racing Team Slovenia
spun right in front of RRT.VOLK - they both got out of the track as well.
Terror continues in T1, three (!) drivers in the same time was goin way
too wide in T1 and ended up in sand: they were Kore, Evo.Client and Evo.Nesmeyan,
luckily or unfortunately it wasnt because of contacts, there wasn’t any,
it’s just three racers at the same time made exactly the same mistake
on braking.
Evo.Nesmeyan rushed to get back on the race line, so he slowly rolls
in a middle of the track in T1 and ofcourse takes out few cars from the
back pack - aero:von_Neumann meets Evo.Nesmeyan first, so does (V)Vince
a moment later. When Evo.Nesmeyan finaly recovered he approached Polde
and kicked him out of the race line while trying to overtake.
After that it’s seems like the scaryest part is already behind, RRT.Koffy
leaded the pack, backing up his position, being on ocr|JeeP’s pressure. (V)Vince
and aero:von_neuman have done a couple of succefull attacks.
On lap 2 ocr|JeeP became the leader and started to build up respectable
gap.
Evo.Client disconnected on lap 3.
n!Da Hoe mooved up to 5th on lap 5.
Evo.Raptor made mistake in T1 on lap 6 and lost two positions. Then RRT.VOLK
makes error in the fast turn after the back straight and [dSRC]nazzard
passed him by.
Evo.Nesmeyan attacks RRT.VOLK on lap 7, but he touches RRT.VOLK’s car
and both spinned of the track, thus, allowing Evo.Raptor to go ahead and
gain 7th position. Evo.Nesmeyan smashed into RRT.VOLK’s back once again
at the same lap, sending him out of track again. Soon after that
accident Evo.Nesmeyan disconnects.
On lap 8 (V)Vince and Kore collided, they spinned out of the race line
and aero:von_Neumann became 9th. A bit later he overtook RRT.VOLK as well. But
on 11th lap he made an eror in T1, and RRT.VOLK took his position back.
aero:von_Neumann recovers from the sand right in front of the lapping
leader - ocr|JeeP. Unfortunately aero:von_Neumann lost his car and they
collided.
aero:von_Neuman pobably got tired till lap 14, he starts doing the same
error in T1 every lap, he goes to wide and (V)Vince used it to take 8th
position from him.
n!Da Hoe makes an error on lap 17 and [dSRC]nazzard, who was chasing him
close for 10 laps approximately, finaly overtook him and became 4th.
Kore fails to give way for n!Da Hoe who was lapping him on lap 24. they
collided and n!Da Hoe spun outside the track.
On lap 25 RRT.VOLK
makes strange mistake and Kore became 10th.
On last lap it looked like RRT.Koffy
decided to play team tactics and let RRT.smith
take the 2nd place on podium.
RRT.smith (2nd)
Free practice clearly showed that race is going to be tough, as many racers did 1.05.xx. Dont know how exactly, but I managed to pull out good lap (PB even) in qual, what allowed me to parially escape first-T1 madness. Race went smooth, even lapped racers didnt make any offensive maneuvers. Last lap brought big surprise - thanks to Koffy now our team still has chance in racer’s championship. Also I’d like to thank Eza (o/) for sharing decent setup.
RRT.Koffy (3rd)
Basicaly that was one of those hard races for me. The situation in standings
wasn’t really clear and I prepared very well, in case I need to fight
hard with Evo.Nesmeyan. The finish was great!
[dSRC]nazzard (4th)
Again a funny event. I dropped back to last position
at start, but could recover a lot of positions during the race. The best part was chasing DaHoe for several laps until he made a mistake. Really impressive how he got so quick without any serious training. :)
Evo.frik (6th)
The race has turned out very good For me. From the first laps I
gained 3 position, what allowed me to create rather big gap to
the nearest opponents, and I finished 6th in result. It is insulting
certainly that Nesmeyan and Client could not make it to the finish, but
what can you do.
RRT.VOLK (11th)
Hard race... fun, but hard too. Especially when there is so many people
uses brute power.

The race started with collissions right in very first turn. Probably
it was a lag, anyway Evo.RaptoR had a contact with aero:detail. Both got
out of the raceline.
Aero:fanatic overtook afastest on the first lap. On second lap aero:detail
started making his way up from the back of the grid, he overtook RRT.VOLK
and started attacking RRT.BlicKrig.
At the same time afastest took back 3rd position from aero:fanatic. Then
aero:fanatic made a light bump with afastest’s car and lost control on
the straight. that allowed RRT.BlicKrig to go ahead and become 4th.
The leader, Evo.Client, who was under hard pressure from n!Da Hoe, disconnected
on the 4th lap.
At the same time aero:fanatic overtook RRT.BlicKrig. Later there was an
accident between them. aero:detail and RRT.VOLK passed them, while
RRT.BlicKrig and aero:fanatic tried to get back on the raceline as fast
as possible.
On the 5th lap RRT.VOLK made an error, he goes too wide in the turn and the
whole pack leaves him behind.
Aero:fanatic and RRT.BlicKrig contacted once again! That probably was
a lag, because RRT.BlicKrig disconnected immediately. However RRT.VOLK
overtook aero:fanatic.
After few laps of a hard battle aero:fanatic overtook RRT.VOLK on lap
9.
Kore came close to RRT.VOLK, but unfortunately he spins out on the straight.
On lap 12 aero:fanatic overtook Evo.RaptoR in the hairpin, and so he did
with astafest on lap 14.
Huge afastest’s mistake on lap 15 allowed Evo.RaptoR to become 4th.
At the same moment aero:detail made misstake and his temmate aero:fanatic
took 2nd position from him. But aero:detail became 2nd again on the next
lap. They exchanged position once again later and on lap 16 aero:fanatic
finally settled on 2nd.
Lap 17. Aero:detail lost his car on the straight and Evo.RaptoR overtook
him. On lap 21 there was a hard battle for 3sd place between them and aero:detail
took 3sd position back. In fact astafest overtook Evo.Raptor too.

I’m very dissatisfied. I passed afastest at the start before T1 but then
was hit by RaptoR. He braked too late and even released the pedal. I didn’t
protest, because anyway I finished in front of him. The gap that I could
have made would be enough to stay in 2nd position even after I started
making
mistakes in the second half of the race.

The race was full of wreckage, everyone seems to be dissapointed.. I feel
sorry for RRT.BlicKrig, he could perform better than me if stayed connected.
RRT.BlicKrig:
I even don`t know what to say...just....shit happens...and that`s all

Kore:
First race for me and dead last place. But then again its the experience that counts and will do better on next race. See you all in Blackwood.

Another record -- record of signed up (and, whats more important, appeared) racers has been broken!
Astounding number of 19 made possible appearing of two tightly packed divisions, and first of them
has collected the fastest ones.
Practice part of the event suddenly revealed problems with server, which decided to drop dead
when only 15 minutes to official qualification start was left. Luckily, coordinator found
another server a moments later, but it took a while for all to gather in the new place.
Six minutes of qualification time didnt allow to fully expand all potential of the grid, but
rather, ability to concentrate and show maximum for three laps. ocr.JeeP, aero|von_Neumann and [dSRC]nazzard
succeded in that, taking first three places.
Race start, and, especially, fist turns promised to be very dangerous -- and promises came true.
Very optimistic entry to first turn of von_Neumann almost ended in collision with Jeep, but this
time destruction was avoided.
But, two turns later, nazzard seems has lost control of his car and crashed right into aero|Palich.
Palich trajectory wasnt hurt, but nazzard were sent to wall, smashing his car on steel barriers.
At the same time von_Neumann without any visible reason loses grip and goes in the opposite wall’s
direction -- seems there is nothing he could have done about it. In a few seconds, when nazzard
seemed to gain control of his car, he collided with Polde. At this place nazzard’s race was totally
ruined. I think everybody will agree, if I say mainly lags in this turn decided final standings of the race.
First three racers who entered in the next, fourth turn, kept their positions till the finish, and that
were JeeP, Palich and RRT.smith. JeeP seemed to be in his own parallel dimension, as his laptimes
were unbelievable fast and constant, what allowed him to make very respectable gap to 2nd place.
Half of the race Evo.Nesmeyan kept tight pace in a few seconds behind smith, but on the other half he
started making errors and falling behind further and further...
But, we’d better be back to the rest of the grid. RRT.Koffy started very carefully -- seems like he
made mistake in shifting right on start lane -- as his engine produced very strange sounds afterwards.
Situation on the end of 1st lap was very interesting: stable first four places, then padding,
containing frik and Polde, finishing with dynamite pack -- nazzard, von_Neumann and Koffy.
And this padded grid construct created most of the race overtakes and struggle, the unity and
struggle of contrasts was clearly shown: stability sometimes matters more than fast, but
faulty laptimes.
After that there were everything: close fighting, slight contacts, catching, crashing
and desperate tries of keeping position... It just doesnt need to be described, as
number of this race’s overtaking moments was huge -- check it yourself!

Last action I should mention of about was on last few laps, when nazzard and von_Neumann
catched Nesmeyan and battle for fourth and fifth positions was began. Unfortunately for Nesmeyan
nazzard got him and became fourth, while von_Neumann wasnt so lucky, and though he finally
overtook Nesmeyan, the latter didnt want to lose, and gained his fifth place back, taking
advantage of von_Neumann’s error, who surely made it in a hurry, already mentally
celebrating
successfull overtake :)
RRT.smith
Another race, where stable and errorless racers gained advantage. Luckily I evaded first turns mess and finished 3rd, what was even better than I planned. Nesmeyan made me worry a bit as he didnt want to give up and was behind me, but everything went succesfull for me.
[dSRC]nazzard:
A difficult start again. After analysing it multiple times: no offensive driving caused those crashes, maybe just a bit of lag. von_Neumann and me didn’t hit each other at all in the second turn (as we were metres away), but still he was sent into the wall as well. Incidents with Koffy were real though (sorry again), because I was to slow in the hairpin 2 times and my car blocked his racing line. After the first two eventful laps it was time to catch up the drivers in front. I tried to keep a steady-pace and the 4th place is a good result. Watch out for the dynamite-pack next time :)!
RRT.Koffy:
I am very disappointed in the whole
event. First, I was absolutely sure I can make a good race and take 4-5 place, but 30 min before practice I felt my bad grip on track+car combination. I needed more practice before event, but I was confident. And that was my primary mistake. I’ll never do that again in future races. So, race was vry fun. On first laps I became last and my primary target was finish as high as can possible. And I am blown my engine and couldn’t make fast laps. It was hard target, but I am satisfied a bit because I pass Polde and evo.Frik and my teammate RRT.smith took 3th place. Now in the team cup we have 3th position and overtook evo.
Evo.frik
This race was particulary lucky for me, after 1st turn I was 5th, but culdnt keep this position as Koffy and von_Neumann was clearly faster and I had to make way for them. JeeP, sorry I didnt make way for you fast, as I thought it was Polde.
