Hello, fellow racers! Finally, we are starting to explore rally possibilities which S2 is going to offer, in a four-stage two-class rally championship (schedule)!

Appendix 4 "Information specific to a season"

Championship’s general conductor: smith. Race coordinators: smith, volk, Koffy, ekze.

Forthcoming season will have the following restrictions, along with the main regulations. You definitely must know the regulations, as it contains facts vital to successful competing in championship.

Also take note that championship participating system is a bit different from previous ones. This time, when you join the first race of championship, you gain possibility to register for the rest of championship stages (only if you qualify for first race though). You won’t have a chance to join when first race signup deadline arrives, so decide whether you are with us or you are not.

Racing event details:
Qualifying
Low wind is turned on in qualifying.
Qualifying consists of one warm-up and one flying lap. On qualifying start everyone must immediately spectate. Race coordinator commands each racer to start his qualifying lap. After completion of the flying lap racer must drive to the pit-lane and then join spectator mode or pit.
If racer crashes on warm-up lap or flying lap, or suffers speeding on pit-lane penalty, he isn’t allowed to restart his lap, and his penalty must be completed on his flying lap.
Amount of qualifying fuel is unrestricted.

Race
Low wind is turned on in race.
Race start procedure is a common one: everyone starts right from their qualifying positions.
Be extremly careful with others, it’s very important since your and opponent’s cars can be badly damaged.

It’s very important to understand that things are going to be very serious and if you’re unsure you can stand the rules, please skip this competition.

As usual, to qualify, you must send your hlvc replay for current race’s track and chosen car to volk@4sure.info.

Conclusion: follow the rules and have fun!

In racers cup we have a following situation:
Gold medal: n!Da Hoe
Silver medal: AERO|Palich
Bronze medal: RRT.smith

We’d like to thank the rest of the grid who wasn’t so lucky as these three racers.

During this cup, along with hardened A-Spec racing club’s veterans, we saw a lot of new faces, and we hope they’ll stick with us to rise our and their level even higher.

S2 alpha cup wouldn’t be possible without fast and reliable game servers, which were kindly provided by AERO|von_Neumann and DevilEST. Also, thanks to our new hosting from S.Konyshev we hope to reduce our site’s downtime to zero. Thank you guys!

In the end of first lap AERO.Palich and Oxygene makes their pit-stops. On 3rd lap nic [Martin] approaches leaders. Soon he overtakes RRT.Koffy. On 7th lap FAC Eza happens to be very close to Torben Sauthoff. In the same time nic [Martin] catches FAC Eza and overtakes him.

RRT.smith finally overtakes Kore, but, he was trying to overtake him way too far and his chances for high places are already faint. Kore, who lost his tempo after losing place makes a few errors, and Evo.Nesmeyan gets very close to him. Sadly, RRT.Koffy disconnects when he was on 4th place.

AERO.Palich, who already made his pit-stop is very close to Kore and Evo.Nesmeyan, and they didn’t ever pit yet (!). And, making another mistake in chicane’s exit, Evo.Nesmeyan makes place for AERO.Palich. On 14th lap AERO.Palich passes Kore as well.

Lap 17th. Evo.Nesmeyan and chicane again, and he loses his place in favour of JJ Nylander. JJ Nylander tries to pass Kore on 19th lap, and after unsuccessfull attempt, he spins Kore out. Evo.Nesmeyan uses it and becomes 6th, because RRT.smith made his pit-stop, after which he returns 7th on track.

Soon Evo.Nesmeyan again became last because of pit-stop. In the same time nic [Martin] finally overtakes Torben Sauthoff when he makes mistake in T1 entry.

On 27th lap FAC Eza makes his planned pit stop. AERO.Palich jumps to 3rd place, and begins to approach leaders. Sadly he disconnects soon, losing last chance to win and regain championship leadership.

On the last laps there was quite interesting battle for 4th place between RRT.smith and JJ Nylander, and Evo.Nesmeyan was fighting with Kore for 6th place. JJ Nylander defence was strong enough to keep his place. Kore tried to overtake Evo.Nesmeyan in T1 making rude attack, but in the end of the straight Evo.Nesmeyan took back his 6th place, while Kore ran out of fuel in 40 metres to finish line and finished only with Torben Sauthoff’s help.

Hello. Today I’ll be reporter of S2 Alpha Cup’s last event.

This race seemed to be most important one for all championship, as in team’s cup two teams, A-Spec.RRT and Evolution Racing Team were fighting for cup leadership.

One little remark before we start: turn after back straight I’ll be referring to as T3, many key events of the race happened there.

Race start went smooth, but right in the very first T2 (chicane), collision between ekze and RRT.Volk happened, when they entered T2 almost side by side. ekze didn’t suffer much from this incident, except losing a bit of exit speed, but RRT.Volk hit the wall and damaged his car badly.

There was some wind on the track, and back straight speed was as high as 230 kph, what caught some racers in the moments they didn’t expect. Maxii-GPT- was clearly late with braking in T3 and collides with RRT.BlicKrig, taking Maxtron with them. In result this trinity is out of the track. RRT.BlicKrig suffered less and was back-on-track first to resume his chase of leaders.

RRT.Volk stops in pits on 2nd lap, as his car appeared to be damaged too heavily to continue. Back on track, he found his race gap already very big.

While RRT.Volk was pitting, the rest of the grid already stretched a bit, and race leaders were formed: MR-ToniX, Evo.frik and Gpunkt.

T3 and wind, and Maxii-GPT- is out of the track again, and ekze uses this to his advantage.

On 3rd lap ekze makes mistake in chicane and BlicKrig realized his chance to overtake him in T3. This wasn’t last of ekze’s mistages and on next lap, in T3 again, he swaps position with Maxii-GPT- again. Next lap, T3, again: Maxii-GPT- brakes late and makes way to ekze and RRT.Konyshev.

6th lap. Leaders already made a reasonable gap to the rest, while their distances roughly looked like: MR-ToniX - 1.36 - Evo.frik - 1.88 - Gpunkt. A bit later, guess what? T3. BlicKrig very badly missed the braking point and after quick journey on sand he hits the wall. When he managed to get back on track, ekze, RRT.Konyshev, Maxii-GPT- and Maxtron happened to be in front of him. On 8th lap he pits on obvious reason.

RRT.Konyshev was making quite many mistakes here and there, and after his not very successfull chicane passing, Maxii-GPT- & Maxtron were closing to the attack distance. And, in T3 they passes him.

Lap 9 happened to be last for RRT.BlicKrig. He uses T3 to get off track again, and, while getting back, he couldn’t has managed his car and spins. A bit later, connection to RRT.BlicKrig was lost, what painfully hit A-Spec.RRT team ranking while they were struggling with Evolution Racing Team in team’s cup.

Maxii-GPT- almost catched ekze on 13th lap, but evil chicane plays it’s role again and gap to ekze increases. Maxii-GPT- isn’t gives up and reducing distance to minimum he begins to attack again, but al his attacks were reflected by ekze’s defence.

On 16th lap RRT.Konyshev makes pit stop. Lap 18, ekze mistakes in right-hander after 2nd split and finally, Maxii-GPT- passes him. MR-ToniX leads by a reasonabl margin to Evo.frik, while the latter tries to build some pace to Gpunkt, not very successfully, though.

Maxtron and ekze pits on 20th and 21st laps respetively.

By 24th lap leaders approached lappers very closely. Evo.frik pits and Gpunkt becomes 2nd.

On 25th lap ekze & Maxtron collides in scissors exit. ekze’s car was damaged but he continues without pitting, what nnnegatively inflicted his laptimes.

On 26th lap RRT.Konyshev makes his recurrent pit stop.

Lap 27: Gpunkt pits but fails to get back on track in front of Evo.frik, who regains his 2nd place.

Not very sporting actions were made by MR-ToniX. On 28th lap, while not being close enough to lap RRT.Volk/ekze pair, he began using his horn signal extensively, and that was happening from 2nd split to next lap’s chicane. It surely cost one position to RRT.volk. When he makes way to this very impatient slovenian, ekze also sneaks in front of him. On lap 29 MR-ToniX - Evo.frik gap was as big as 29 seconds.

On 31st lap RRT.Volk pits and gets on track right in front of Evo.frik, but makes way to him almost immediately. In the end of the lap MR-ToniX refuels, and after his stop gap to Evo.frik reduced to a mere 2.88 seconds.

33rd lap. RRT.Konyshev pits again.

Looks like Evo.frik didn’t have enough fuel to finish race, so he pitted 2nd time, and Gpunkt became 2nd. Till the end of the race nothing was happening and everyone were trying to keep their positions till finish.
