To explain some of the "unclear" moments with club ideology we decided to add some explanations in Q&A form.
Q: How can I become club member?
A: To take part in competitions you must register as a club member.
Q: How can I join the race?
A: To participate in the race, you must subscribe to the race (press JOIN sign
in the most right field of races list, which can be accessed by clicking at seasons name
wherever you see it). Note that due to most recent addidion you can't join season from 2nd, 3rd,
and so on, race. You have to qualify for the 1st, pre-qualifying, race to be able to race in others.
Q: Okay, I joined the pre-qualifying race, but I am not qualified, as I see myself in "non-qualified racers" in race's divisions.
A: To pre-qualify you should drive required hotlap, which times is less than 107% (depends on the season, but usually 107%) off current WR time, done on car which has been chosen in the race join dialogue.
After uploading hotlap to LfsWorld, go to hotlap page and press "update hotlaps" button.
Q: Race date and time arrived, but I cant see any server which I must
join in servers list, or password doesn't match! Heeeelp!
A: Calm down. Visit divisions list page right after race practice time arrived,
and you should see server and password data on top of the page. If that didn't help, drop
message to club's chat, or join our IRC channel, irc.gamesurge.net #a-spec, to get help or explanations.
Q: Explain how club's time/date system works
A: When you are not logged in to site, all time/date values are shown using GMT+3 Moscow time.
When you are logged in, site adjusts all of it's time/date values using "Time Zone" and "Location"
data which you must set in your profile. "Time Zone" must be set as
your area timezone, without daylight saving hour. If you’re unsure what timezone to set,
check what timezone is chosen in your windows date/time setup dialogue. In "Location" drop-down
box choose your general area of residence. This parameter is used to automatically calculate
daylight saving.
After making adjustments, please check if your computer clock readings are equal to site
clock (you can find site clock below the calendar on the right). If clocks values are not equal,
go to your profile and correct "Time Zone" value again.
